Meet Riva! Rescued in 2018

When we adopted Riva in 2018, he had already experienced instability and fear in his early life. Loud noises, changes in routine, and everyday stressors made it hard for him to relax.

What helped him most was having a safe, comforting place to retreat.

That experience became the inspiration for CalmingPup — so other dogs struggling with anxiety could feel the same sense of security.

We created our first calming dog bed to help Riva feel safe. Today, we design a full collection of calming products to help anxious dogs everywhere feel more relaxed — at home and on the go.

A Brand Built on Compassion and Quality

We are a woman-owned small business built by dog lovers who believe emotional wellness is just as important as physical comfort.

Our goal is not simply to sell pet products — it is to create calming environments that help dogs feel safe wherever they are.

We design with intention, test thoughtfully, and listen closely to the real experiences of pet parents. This commitment allows us to continually refine our products and deliver meaningful comfort solutions for anxious dogs.

Giving Back to Rescue Dogs

Because Riva’s journey began with rescue, giving back is part of our foundation.

We donate a portion of our profits to animal rescue organizations working tirelessly to help dogs find loving, permanent homes.
